Henry Huey Freeman

Henry Huey Freeman, the son of farmers, was straight-A student majoring in agricultural engineering.  He wanted to convert his family land into an organic farm and become a land rights attorney.  During a peace demonstration Huey was shot in the face with tear gas gun as he and fellow member, Alison Aubrey, resisted the beating of three riot police officers who were trying to take them to the ground.  His death was ruled an accident and no charges were filed against the officer.  His death sent a blow to the surviving members of the Secret Seven, one they never fully recovered from.  Freeman’s death was the major factor that caused the group to disband.
